Sweet Woods Creek 2011
As we went for a cup of coffee Friday morning we cut through the old Sweet Woods. The night before there were high winds and snow. All the bare trees had snow stuck to their north side from the winds.

Leaf Skeletons October 2009
While wandering around the woods I came upon these decayed leaves. It looked like a leaf graveyard. I carefully picked up a few and put them in my bag to bring home. These designs are the skeleton like structure of the leaves.

Fall Seeds October 2009
I have always believed that if you look hard enough you will be able to find something interesting. Today I arrived at the woods that I have been going to for some years now. The light was poor and the wind was blowing. All the fall colors looked dull and I found nothing of interest.

After watching all the Hummingbird activity in my neighbor's flower garden, I decided to put up a feeder. Well, it only took about 15 minutes for the first customer to arrive!
