Before Sunset - Fall 2008

November and it's 74 degrees! It's indian summer at it's best. The colors are starting to fade, but a few are still hanging in there. Today I decided to take a drive out to one of my favorite woods to see what nature had to offer. About 20 minutes before sunset the sun painted the trees with a beautiful golden glow. The now yellow and red maples lit up like they were on fire. I used a wide angle lens to add some distortion to this already surreal scene.
