I’ve been friends with Melanie for most of my life. Melanie was also the first to display my new work. Thanks Mel. She has always been a great inspiration to me whenever it came to venturing onto a new path. When we were young hippies, I always had a camera and took pictures of everything we did (whitewater rafting, cliff diving at France Park, In., concerts, camping trips, etc). When I told her I was getting back into photography and was interested in photographing nature, she insisted I come over to her garden. Wow, what a great back yard retreat! It was the end of the flower season but easy to see that I had to return next year when it’s in full bloom. |
